GEO site audit

Tracking tells you if AI recommends you. The site audit tells you why not - on the whole store and on the pages that matter most.

Site-level

Signals AI needs before it trusts a store

On every discovery we check the technical layer answer engines and crawlers use - then turn gaps into a prioritized checklist with plain-language next steps.

  • llms.txt - present, missing, or thin
  • robots.txt rules that silently block AI crawlers
  • Organization / storefront schema
  • SSR vs client-only render (can AI even read the page?)
Site-level audit
  • Product / Offer schemamissing
  • llms.txtmissing
  • GPTBot allowedok
  • Organization schemaweak
Fix: add Offer schema on product cards, then re-scan to confirm.

Page-level

Top 200-1,000 URLs - the ones AI actually cites

Paste the URLs you care about, or start from home, category, and top product pages. Your list is the scope - we do not silently add the rest of the sitemap. Each page gets schema, render, and content-score checks - not a full-site crawl.

  • Starter 200 · Pro 500 · Business 1,000 · Agency 500 / project
  • Schema, meta, canonical, hreflang, content structure
  • Content score for shopping-intent readiness
  • Manual refresh up to once a week
Page audit · plan cap

  • /collections/trail-shoes
  • /products/mud-runner-pro
  • /products/ridge-pack

Swap any URL inside your plan cap. Refresh up to once a week.

Plain language

Fixes you can ship - or hand off

Each finding is problem → impact → next step. Built for a store owner who is not an SEO specialist, and clear enough for a developer to execute without a briefing call.

  • Example: add Offer schema on product cards
  • Example: unblock GPTBot in robots.txt
  • Example: category page missing the specifics AI quotes

Sample fix

Missing Offer schema on 18 product pages

Impact: Google AI Overviews and shopping answers often need price and availability. Without Offer markup, competitors with clean schema get cited instead.

Next step: add Product + Offer JSON-LD on PDP templates, then re-run the audit and weekly tracking.

Free scan includes a site-level teaser. Page-level audit and fix history live on paid plans. Pair it with AI visibility tracking so every fix can be measured against mention rate.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a full crawl of every URL on my site?+
No. We audit the pages AI is most likely to cite - home, categories, and top products from discovery - up to your plan cap (Starter 200, Pro 500, Business 1,000, Agency 500 per project). You can swap any URL inside that cap. We do not crawl an entire 20k-SKU catalog.
What is checked site-wide vs per page?+
Site-level: llms.txt, robots.txt AI crawler rules, Organization schema, and whether the store renders without relying on client-only JS. Page-level: Product/Offer/FAQ schema, meta/title, canonical, hreflang, render, content structure, plus a content score for shopping-intent readiness.
Can I choose which pages get audited?+
Your URL list is the audit scope. Paste one link, upload a .txt list, or pull paths from your sitemap - Run audit checks exactly those paths, up to your plan cap (Starter 200, Pro 500, Business 1,000, Agency 500 per project). An empty list uses your store sitemap instead. We never add sitemap pages when you already chose a specific list.
How often can I re-run the audit?+
Manual refresh up to once per week per project, plus an automatic monthly pass with tracking. That keeps the audit fresh without needing to wait a full week after you ship fixes.
Do you change anything on my site?+
No. Recommendations stay on your side. You apply them yourself or hand the list to a developer. After you fix something, the next tracking run shows whether mention rate moved.
Which plans include page-level audit?+
Every paid plan. Free scan includes a site-level teaser checklist only. Page caps: Starter 200, Pro 500, Business 1,000, Agency 500 pages per client project.
