1. How we ask for consent

On aigely.com we use the open-source consent UI CookieConsent (vanilla-cookieconsent) (MIT License). You can Accept, Deny, or open View preferences. Optional categories stay off until you opt in (GDPR-style opt-in).

Change your mind anytime: footer → Cookie settings, or clear site data for aigely.com.

app.aigely.com (the logged-in panel) does not show that banner. It only sets cookies needed to run your account - sign-in, security, and the screen you asked for. It does not load the Google Analytics or Hotjar scripts. On the public sign-up page we load the Meta Pixel and send PageView so we can measure ad landings. When you create an account, start checkout, or return after checkout, we also record registration, checkout, trial, and purchase (same event id as our server). We also send those conversion events to Google Analytics from our server, without extra cookies and without your email. Third-party checkout and Google Sign-In happen on Stripe and Google domains, under their own policies.

2. Cookies on aigely.com

Necessary

• cc_cookie - stores your consent choice (categories accepted/rejected). Set by CookieConsent. Lifetime ~6 months.
• aigely_utm - first-touch campaign parameters (UTM, gclid, fbclid) and partner ref slugs so we can see how you found Aigely if you later sign up. First-party, 90 days. Functional attribution, not advertising or session replay. Set without waiting for Analytics consent.
• Hosting / security / load-balancing cookies that our infrastructure may set to deliver the site safely (session continuity, TLS, abuse protection). These do not profile you for marketing.

Analytics (optional)

Used only if you enable the Analytics category. Purpose: understand traffic and product usage (e.g. which pages are opened).

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) - loads only after you Accept or enable Analytics in Preferences. IP anonymization is on.
• Cookies typically set by GA4: _ga, _ga_*, _gid (lifetime per Google's defaults, often up to 2 years for _ga).
• Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd) - loads only after you accept Analytics. Session replays and heatmaps on aigely.com. We do not identify Hotjar sessions with your email. Cookies typically start with _hj.

Rejecting Analytics (or choosing Deny) prevents the GA and Hotjar scripts from loading. You can change this anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.

Marketing / advertising

Used only if you enable the Ads measurement category. Purpose: understand whether a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad led you to Aigely, and which marketing pages you opened.

• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) - loads only after you Accept or enable Ads measurement in Preferences, and only when a Pixel ID is configured. Typical cookies: _fbp, _fbc.

Rejecting Ads measurement (or choosing Deny) prevents the Meta Pixel from loading on aigely.com. You can change this anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.

3. Cookies on app.aigely.com

These are first-party, scoped to app.aigely.com (not Domain=.aigely.com, so the marketing site cannot read your session). They are required for the panel. There is no cookie banner on this host.

• Session (Better Auth, typically better-auth.session_token, HttpOnly) - keeps you signed in. Lifetime follows the session (hours to days). Without it the panel cannot work.
• aigely_utm - same first-touch attribution as on aigely.com, copied onto the signup URL because the two hosts are different origins. 90 days. Set once at first visit to signup/login; not used for ads.
• aigely_plan_intent - remembers the plan and billing period from a pricing link through signup and onboarding. ~7 days.
• aigely_checker - remembers the free scan id and store URL so we can attach that scan to your new account. 30 days.
• aigely_active_project - which project the sidebar should show. 1 year.
• aigely_locale - language for the panel and emails. From Settings, or from aigely.com when you open a login or signup link in that language. 1 year. English, Polish, and German.
• aigely_locale_persist - keeps the language you chose on the public site so the panel and emails match the next time you open them. 1 day.
• aigely_admin_unlock - extra step for our own admin operators only (email code / authenticator). A few hours. Ordinary customers never get this cookie.
• On the public sign-up page we load the Meta Pixel and send PageView (and set _fbp / _fbc from an ad click id if present) so Meta can see that someone reached sign-up. When you create an account, start checkout, or return after a successful checkout (?checkout=success), we also send CompleteRegistration, InitiateCheckout, StartTrial, and Purchase with the same event_id as our server Conversions API. The panel does not show a consent banner for this. Google Analytics conversion events from the panel are sent from our server (no extra cookies, no email).

Error monitoring (Sentry), when enabled in production, sends crash reports to keep the Service up. It is not session replay, we do not send your email as a Sentry identifier, and it is not an advertising cookie. Stripe Checkout / Customer Portal and Google Sign-In may set their own cookies on stripe.com and accounts.google.com.

4. Free Aigely Scan

The scan itself is an API request with the store URL you submit. Rate limiting may use short-lived server-side logs (e.g. IP). That is not a browser advertising cookie; see the Privacy Policy for processing details.

5. Browser controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block all cookies on aigely.com, the public site may still work, but we may not remember your consent choice and the banner can reappear. Blocking necessary cookies on app.aigely.com will sign you out or break project switching, checkout handoff, and similar panel features.

6. Your rights
